Moving to a new board
I am excited with the features of this phpbb (i would understand if youg guys don't share my excitement here but) this is gonna make maintaining the board a lot easier for me and in the long run a better place for our posts. I looked for ways to make this easier on us, an automated way to move all the post from fireboard to phpbb, but i found that we're not the only ones with this dilemma, even on the phpbb forums itself are chcokful of people having the same issues with no solutions.
I am not proficient with phpbb and no time to learn it, but i do have the patience to do it by hand whenever i can. It will take me some time though.
..sorry about the inconvenience. I know most of you guys are not that excited to lose your posts. But i really would appreciate your cooperation on this one.
Got a few request from you guys.
1. Start posting new threads on the new board.
2. Refrain from replying to old posts until i'm done moving them. But if it can't be helped, i will move the latest threads with most traffic first.
3. and finally.. if you can repost your Field Reports, Intro's, Tips and Tricks and any notable articles, I'd be grateful for saving me some of the work.
